Simmering at Pickering

Black Five 45407

A last look. For now.

Courage

A brave young admirer

Let us hope he has never to make the sacrifices
of all those years ago.

Black Five 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier'

At Pickering in superb condition

As we remember the First World War

And those palls battalions

Many from Yorkshire and Lancashire but of
course not exclusively by any means. Many
town and cities recruited 'Palls' to fight and
die on the western front.
