BR Standard class 4 75029

Posed perfectly

The Green Knight

It shows the march in steam technology

It's culmination in the standard designs of the
Riddles team for British Rail

BR Standard class 4 The Green Knight

Also at Pickering yesterday

The BR Standard 4 The Green Knight.
Bought in tandem with 9F Black Prince
by David Shepherd. He tells us we owe much
the upland elephant the sale of whose picture
financed the purchase of the two locomotives
I think a thank you to David is also inline
as it was his artistic talent which painted
the upland elephant

Gresley A4 Bittern

In charge at the North York's Moors yesterday

A superbly cared for A4

Runs down onto her train at Pickering

Magnificent sight

The LNER A4 always strikes a chord not to mention
a chime from the whistle
