It is always right to remember the civilian loss of
in war and this commemorates the city of Sheffield
which suffered much during WW2 and blitz on that
city and it's civilian population.
Looking at the news, sadly that situation doesn't seem
to have changed much.
Of course the 'The Master Cutler' was the London
Sheffield Express which ran for so many years.

Riddles 8F Austerity
Departing Keighley this afternoon. Six on for
Oxenhope
A spirited departure, no problem for a loco of this
pulling power

The heritage coach set in tow, ISAAC waits the road
I shall cover the heritage coach set in a later article
They really are superb and make a very evocative
sight behind ISAAC.
In size ISAAC is very similar, though not as long
as the original L&B engines of which Lynton Rail
are having built namely LYN

Isaac runs around
Overhauled at Boston Lodge on the Ffestiniog ISAAC
is a Bagnall engine built in Stafford in 1952 for a
platinum mine in South Africa. Four were built
and ISAAC's sister engine 'GELERT' can be
seen on the WHR.
A superbly overhauled engine, it is as close to the
original L&B engines as you would get I would think
