I am going to start and publish the loco roster for the K&WVR as it may be of interest to those close by or others visiting the area.

On Saturday USATC S160 2-8-0 5820 will take over the steam service for the weekend and 90733 will come back for the Sunday relief service.

This Saturday sees the last of the diesel locomotive hauled trains. Originally scheduled for Class 25 haulage, the service will now be in the hands of Class 20 031 and Class 37, 37 075 as the repairs to 25 059 have not been completed in time. Diesel Class 101 will take the Sunday morning diesel service.

The day's schedule for the diesel haulage will be as follows:

0900 Ox - Kei - 20031
0940 Kei - Ox - 20031
1015 Ox - Kei - 20031
1100 Kei - Ox - 20031 with 37075 added at Haworth Loop.
1145 Ox - Kei - 20031 leading 37075.
1230 Kei - Ox - 20031 leading 37075. Detach 20031 at Haworth Loop.
1315 Ox - Kei - 37075
1400 Kei - Ox - 37075
1445 Ox - Kei - 37075
1530 Kei - Ox - 37075
1615 Ox - Kei - 37075
1700 Kei - Ox - 37075

Valley railway

Locomotive number 4422 was constructed at Derby Locomotive Works for the London Midland & Scottish Railway Company to a design by Sir Henry Fowler. Originally developed for the Midland Railway Company members of this class were designated as Superheater Freight Engines and carried a power classification of 4F. 4422 was one of 772 machines produced from 1911 onwards. 44422 was the 87th of 212 steam locomotives to leave Barry Scrapyard and escape the cutting torch to run again
