Minehead Station on the West Somerset Railway

It remains my favourite station of all the preserved

railways

 

 

There is always lots to see and in the high season

demonstrations of the turntable can be seen

 

Above heavy goods 38XX 3805 is turned

 

The longest platform in preservation

 

Nearly a third of a mile long.
