Bradford Railways

I got this map many years ago now from a site called Railway junctions which sadly seems defunct now.

As can be seen the GNR's line was access by a curved cutting just outside Exchange station. The cutting and small station there were known as St Dunstans. From there is crossed under the Lanc's and York's main line at Bowling to Manchester Rd station then through a deep cutting and tunnel to Horton Park station. At Horton park was the Park Avenue cricket ground where many a Roses match has been played between those ancient rivals, making the line very busy on match days. It was also the home of Bradford Park Avenue football team.
