Stanier Mogul 2 - 6 - 0

One of Staniers first designs on coming from the Great Western was this mogul to improve the mixed traffic stock of the LMS. The drawing shows it as first designed. His team thinking he would want as close a look at the GWR equivalent they designed it with a Swindon top cover. Stanier was not pleased and immediately had it changed to the standard LMS design
