City of Wells 34092

Overhaul of this locomotive is currently underway at Haworth. Visible progress with locomotive No. 34092 'City of Wells' is the arrival of a new tender tank, which was manufactured by a local Keighley firm.
The design reflects the higher capacity tender tank / coal space originally fitted when No. 34092 was outshopped in 1949
Meanwhile, steady progress is being made with the fitting of a new set of tubes and flues to the locomotive.
(KWVR news release) see the whole at http://www.kwvr.co.uk/archive/42-city-of-wells-progress.html
I am sure we all look forwards to seeing it running on the KWVR once more. At the moment you can get the booklet on this loco very cheap ie £1 from the Oxenhope display hall. The stall is set out just in front of Bahamas. Do pop along if your local as the railway always needs contributions no matter how small. Any one finding difficulties can contact me at teachertalk1234@yahoo.co.uk  and I am sure we can sort you one out. There are about thirty or forty available. I would simply post at cost and pay the pound to KWVR.
