How well I remember our train (The Devonian) being handed over to the GWR at Bristol Temple Meads station having been hauled from Bradford by an LMS Jubilee. There was always much interest shown by all we boys as to which engine we would get. At Newton Abbot a banking engine was added or a double header for the run over the Devon Banks
