Real (or Rail) service

There was a time which I can well remember when any and every small town and in particular seaside town was served by the railway. Now many big seaside towns no longer have a connection to the railway system

My favourite summer watering place Ilfracombe lost it's railway link many many years ago. The station is still there but a mini industrial estate now

The Cambrian Coast
Express served many on the Welsh coast

The good news recently is that Sheringham and consequently the North Norfolk Railway are reconnected to the main system with the reopening of the level crossing through to the town Network Rail station
