The City's power station and gas works were of
course situated alongside the railway. Below the
Valley Rd Power station
The sidings of the Midland Railway can plainly be
seen though I cannot see any facility for getting
coal into the power station though I am sure there
must have been some facility.The road between the
Railway and the power station is Valley Rd, still a
well used exit from the city
