Having worked the weekday service of half-term, the main service train this weekend will once again be in the hands of MR 4F 0-6-0 43924 and the diesel service will be provided by the Class 101 diesel multiple unit.
However providing the main interest this weekend will be the first outing of the year of the Vintage Train on Sunday, supplemented, new for 2016, by a vintage Keighley - Ingrow West shuttle. TVR 0-6-2T no. 85 will haul the full line service with Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0T no. 1704 'Nunlow' on the shuttles. For full details of the locomotives and coaches in use this weekend, please see the separate news item "Vintage Trains Sunday 5th June 2016".
For the Monday - Friday weekday service, which now operates every week through to September, TVR 0-6-2T no. 85 will be hauling trains up the Valley on all 5 days.
For the timetables in operation this weekend, please click HERE to visit the timetable page.
Whilst every effort will made to ensure that the advised motive power is available, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway reserve the right to change this when operational circumstances so dictate.
