The Civil Gang are busy ripping up Oakworth level crossing and putting it all back together again with a new surface, after years of taking a pounding from traffic up and down Station Road. These 4 images show progress up to Wednesday afternoon.
With the level crossing back in action for the weekend, the Railway returns to the Green and Blue timetables on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Over the 2 days, BR 4MT 75078 will be at the head of the main service being joined on Sunday by Taff Vale Railway 0-6-2T no. 85.
The Class 101 DMU will operate the Saturday morning diesel service but on Sunday, English Electric 0-6-0 D0226 will be at the head of the early morning service.
Mid-week sees the return of the Wednesday diesel railbus service when either the Class 101 will operate or the diesel railbus M79964.

Whilst every effort will made to ensure that the advised motive power and coaching stock are available, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway reserve the right to change this when operational circumstances so dictate.
