When Bradford ruled the textile world
Almost hourly trains to and from London
The ground and track plan of the station I knew
well, Bradford Exchange
During transition in the late sixties from steam
to diesel
Very much turn of the last century as a GNR loco
awaits to leave with its train for the Alps. The GNR
engine men used to refer to the Queensbury lines
as going over the Alps, due to the steepness of
grades up to Queensbury and of course the
long drag out of Keighley to Cullingworth.
