Another very old net find shows Windhill junction
in steam days. The class two has come down from
Thackley Tunnel on the Leeds Air Valley line which
of course was LMS (originally Midland). The line on
right is the GNR line up to Thackley station and Idle.
You can plainly see the steep grade on the up line
to Thackley and Idle.
