Steam hauled passenger services will be in full swing along the Valley over the Easter weekend. Services start at 09.00 and the two train service operates from 11.00 (steam from Oxenhope and diesel from Keighley [first steam from Keighley 11.45]) with trains leaving every 45 minutes from both termini throughout the rest of the day.
Throughout the Easter Weekend Good Friday 25th - Easter Monday 28th March the steam services will be in the hands of BR Standard Class 4MT 4-6-0 75078 ably assisted by MR 4F 0-6-0 43924. The Blue timetable is in operation for all 4 days giving everyone plenty of opportunity to see the sights on the Railway and the surrounding villages and countryside.
The Pink timetable takes over for the remaining 4 days of next week requiring just one locomotive in steam. Tuesday 29th March - Friday 1st April will see 43924 retire to Haworth shed leaving 75078 to operate the service for the rest of the week.
