Queensbury

Queensbury lay in a hollow below the mountain top town. The town was home to William Fosters Black Dyke Mills (yes the one with the brass band) Indeed Foster was one of the prime movers in persuading others that such a line was needed. It was for him as he needed to get raw wool in and finished cloth out.
