Though not of Bradford, all of these forms of goods
transport would have once been common in our city
I well remember the 'mecanical horse' type wagons
in my childhood days hauling wool from the goods
yard to the many mills that made Bradford the most
well know city in the cloth trade, Worstedopolis as
the called it then.
