Severn Valley Railway Kidderminster museum

A long time ago now I used to sail on ships which
were of the New Zealand Line. They were a dual
company incorporated with the Federal Steam
navigation company. I sailed on Cumberland,
Sussex, Westmorland and Wild Auk, they
were undoubtedly the best days of my
working life. It was such a pleasure
to see the old companies plate
which adorned the loco of
the same name built by
Bullied

The museum is compact but with plenty to see you
have lots to keep you busy

Recreation of a GWR booking office

The old fashioned signals diagram

And of course the leavers which operated the
signals and points

The indicators which told the signalman the state
of his section ie train on or clear etc

The more modern electronic lever frame
