It has been and remains a stalwart of the running
fleet on the KWVR. They had plenty of power
even with the light axle bearings which seemed
cause so much trouble with hot boxes
They were excellent general workhorses serving
passenger as well as their designed good role.
The little railcars never seemed to catch on with
the Metro Vickers DMU getting well and truly
entrenched in those days of the demise of steam
