In those foreign lands Resistance was strong especially
in France
They fought and died for freedom
Eventually we went on the win
the victory, but as always at
dreadful cost.
Whenever I think of the French resistance I am always put in mind of a young Asian woman who along with several other women of many nationalities parachuted into occupied France to help with organising resistance, her mane was Noor Inayat Khan. Her story can be found at:
