Following the recent return of the boiler from repair, Taff Vale Railway 0-6-2T no. 85 successfully completed an ‘out-of-the-frames’ steam test on 19th February 2015. This is another step towards a full return to service later in the year, hopefully not too far away.
I was in the shed some four weeks ago and saw the
work underway and published my pictures of that
work.

Another addition soon to a very good stable of
