Black five 45428 'Eric Treacy'

Friday last also saw 45428 'Eric Treacy' running
the Pullman service from Whitby to Pickering

I could only get a video capture of this so the
quality is not the best.

Stanier Black Five 45428 was built as LMS 5428 in 1937 by Sir W. G. Armstrong Whitworth Engineers Ltd, locomotive works no. 1483,  at the Scotswood Works in Newcastle-on-Tyne. The name ERIC TREACY was added in the post BR preservation days in honour of the Rev Bishop
who was like us all a steam engine and railway enthusiast.

Here Eric during his days as Archdeacon
of Halifax.

Many thanks Wikipedia for the above picture
