Here some interesting views of Great Horton
station on the GNR's Queensbury lines. The road
running parallel to the railway is Spencer Rd and
I used to live at the bottom near Grange school
My mum used to take me to both Thornton and
Ovenden to visit family on this line. We used to
catch the train at Horton Park station which was
the one before Great Horton.
The mills in the foreground are Hollingwood mills
and the road crossing the line is Arctic Parade
