Damems station on the Keighley and Worth Valley railway

So reminiscent of a country station halt so under
used but of such value to those who lived nearby.

Last Friday we had a signal woman and very lovely
too. Very good indeed to see young people and
 especially women becoming involved with
the railway

We are all people first and men and women second

Superbly preserved the signal box controls both
crossing and the passing loop

The compact but serviceable waiting room

It would be shelter from the winter
cold and winds and of course summer
showers too

I little station masters office cum ticket
office

Living history and of course for we who
remember such a little nostalgia.

Go along and take a look yourself.
