Great to see some traction and road engine displays
in the steam spectacular at KWVR
These vehicles must have been a massive leap
in the carriage of heavy goods, the steam horse
in more ways than one
Certainly faster than the real horse
Rather as Eddie Stobart paints his wagons in our
present day, there were painted splendidly to catch
the eye just as Stobarts wagons are today
Warm in winter and stifling
in summer I would think
Of course always well maintained
