The locos absence from Oxenhope
is because it has been loaned to the
NRM as a static exhibit of it's days
in the film 'The Railway Children'
It has we are told been repainted
in the red livery it carried as a
locomotive on the Great Northern
and Southern Railway which was
the fictitious company in that
story
So hopefully a lot more people will
enjoy her and the memories she conjures
She is to be displayed I believe at Shildon
Don't forget the Steam festival this coming weekend at
