There was discussion amongst observers about the
apparent Wiggle in the platform edge. Many varied
explanations were given till I told them it was to
allow clearance for the cylinders when locos run
round ad when swinging diagonally on to the
reverse line the cylinders are wider than the
normal loading gauge width
There is always lots to see at Minhead
