Pictures here is Std class 4 75039 pictures on the
Yorkshire Dales Railway
Above and below at Grassington. 75039 was shedded
at Carnforth for some time prior to withdrawal and often
acted as Tebay Banker.
The bottom two pictures were taken at Rylstone
Rylstone is the location of the limestone Quarry's
It is of course the collection of limestone which has
kept the Skipton to Swinden section open. We
live in hope of a reconnection with this stretch
of line and the Embsay Bolton Abbey line but
£2,000,000 takes a great deal of finding by
a preserved railway. Come on Network
Rail do the right thing here.
