It was great to see Isaac in steam on our last visit
to the L&B but I still have a little lingering affection
for the old stalwart 'AXE'
AXE has served the railways well for a number of
years now and will I hope continue to do so
Built by Kerr Stewart for use in France in WW1
She still does a magnificent job on the L&B
