Welcome to the new 'News@KWVR' Ivatt 2-6-2T 41241 operated on the first days of our re-opening of public services that started on Wednesday 19th August with 43924 taking the honours last weekend and mid-week. Our ‘Back in Steam’ passenger service continues this week with non-stop through services between Oxenhope & Keighley in operation using a selection of compartment coaches. The motive power for all this week’s services will be as follows: Saturday 29th - Monday 31st August Steam service - Midland Railway Class 4F 0-6-0 43924 Wednesday 2nd & Thursday 3rd September: Steam service - Steam service - British Railways Class 2MT 2-6-0 78022 Timetable – ‘Back in Steam’ Timetable NOTE: The 16.00 steam hauled departure from Oxenhope will not operate on Saturday 29th August. Tickets are still available: from Oxenhope, Saturday & Sunday (both limited), Wednesday & Thursday from Keighley, Wednesday & Thursday only Tickets are now also sale for Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September Buy Tickets for KWVR 'Back in Steam' Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that the advised motive power is available, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway reserve the right to change this when operational circumstances so dictate.

Travelling in Style 12th & 19th September The KWVR are the proud owners of two 1930 Pullman parlour cars, from a time when travelling and dining on a train meant travelling in style and opulence. This September take a trip back in time and experience dining from a bygone era. We will be announcing soon an all day diesel hauled service taking place at the end of September.
