Posh carriages

The coaching stock was of course not WSR

West Coast Railways  if I remember rightly and
very posh too with three dining cars

It was a full day excursion from London to Minehead
and back.

Don't know what is cost but it wouldn't have
 been cheap. All first class.
British Rail Mk1 99371 Victoria

A very long train for which Minehead station is ably
suited having the longest platform of a preserved railway

BR Mk.I FO No.99371 "Victoria" and 99125 "Jessica" of West Coast Railway Co. in their own livery based on BR maroon livery; built as No.3128, Diagram 73, Lot 30697, by BR(Swindon) 1963. A superb train set
.
