On my visit to the Midland Railway centre it was
good to see the progress being made on the other
S&D 2-8-0 No 53809
On that day attention seemed to be with the tender
The boiler looked to be complete
And the Cylinders too so work progressing well
During the summer I was on the West Somerset
and saw their 2-8-0 working
It is of course always a pleasure to get a shed or
MPD visit
I am most grateful to the Midland Railway Society
53809 should with luck soon be back in steam
