Last weekend saw the first use of the new jacks
Each jack has a safe working load of 25 tonnes
That of course make a total lifting capacity of 100Tonnes
Ivatt 41241 was lifted clear of its wheel sets to allow
examination of the bearings.
These give the railway a very useful addition to its
capability
I am very grateful to James Horrel for the pictures.
Though I was there and indeed helped with cleaning
bearing sets I had forgotten my camera. So once
again many thanks James.
