Embsay Bolton Abbey Railway

On summer Saturdays and Sundays it is a busy
little railway

There is a buffet, shop and most importantly for
me the brc-a-brac shop which sells lots of second
hand books and magazines on railway matters.
I do assure you it is excellent value and the
most reasonable I have found

A well laid out station and of course the base for
engineering in the works

Set in the loveliest of Yorkshires countryside

Well worth the time to visit and take a ride

Looking wistfully towards Skipton, the connection
is just beyond sight and only 60 or so yards of
track and a set of points are needed, Ohhhh and I
nearly forgot to mention the 2 million pounds
network rail want to make the connection so any
help or donation you can give or make would be
more than welcomed by this little hard working
railway

Here the vintage carriage set of three six wheelers
