Thanks to the National Railway Museum I have
enough pictures of my own to begin experimenting
with that thing called atmosphere. Of course most of
photography in the days of steam was black and white
However going even further back 'sepia' was the
tone of most photographs
Here examples of the original taken on my trusty
Fujifinepix and then treated with a good art programme
It was watching 'Brief Encounter' which brought
the idea to me
You will remember the atmosphere created by the
station and of course Rachmaninoff's music
