The southern portal of Queensbury

tunnel led the train into Strines

The next stop south was Holmfield station

 

Then further south to Ovenden where my mothers

family lived

 

The wooden station building can still be seen off

old lane

 

Then further south under Lee Bank

 

To finally arrive in Halifax North Bridge Station
