It is exactly 50 years ago today that the first locomotive arrived on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway dock tank (pug) arrived at Haworth on the 7th January 1965. This year of course forms the half centenary year of the private operation of the K&WVR
