After December 1941 when the USA entered the
war proper, they had been supplying us for many
months and years before, then the build up of US
armed personnel included their Medical Corps men
or cor-men as they were simply known on the field
of battle
Everything the field hospital needed
Emergency treatment was given there and then
Plasma was a life saver till whole blood could be
given to a casualty
All looks very gruesome now
But of course they saved thousands of lives.
