Commercial Manager
The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway celebrates 50 years of running heritage passenger services this year. Over time the railway has evolved into a visitor attraction that is highly regarded and an asset to the local area. Recent initiatives have proven successful in attracting a new audience from that traditionally targeted and which we would like explore further.
Therefore a brand new opportunity is now available for a dynamic Commercial Manager to come on board at the KWVR, where we need to grow our business to ensure the attraction continues to be sustainable and has a bright future. This role will focus on the development of catering and retail in addition to the strategic development of our marketing.
As a senior manager of the business you will report directly to the board of volunteer directors and will work alongside the Operations Manager.
You will have proven experience in marketing strategy, managing commercial activities, organising events and preferably working with a charitable and volunteer led organisation.
