The railways does of course serve the communities
of the Worth Valley especially at the extremity.
So for the shoppers of Oxenhope wanting to
go down to Keighley on Sat mornings the
Railbus or the DMU is ideal for those early trains
In itself I suppose it is historic as it was one of the
first small diesel propelled rail vehicles that in those
latter days before closure served so many small
branch lines.
They were clean and comfortable and instantly
ready for use
