City of Wells will be running on the Keighley and
Worth Valley Railway this weekend on the Sunday
and Monday. So I though it a useful opportunity to
look back on the engines past
Wells was a regular runner on the Dover boat trains
Richard Hardy who was shed master at Stewarts
lane has many a tale about Wells. Her seen at Dover
her active years with British Rail.
Location unknown but doubtless in preservation
Above during Wells first period of mainline running

departing Scarborough for York
