Our own BR Std class 4 rests at Belle Isle just
outside Haworth yard
Here the Fairburn development of the London
Tilbury and Southend Railways tank, the
LMS class 4 tank engine
Of course Stanier's original design below which in
turn was a development of Fowlers 2-6-4 tank
This would have been a very powerful engine in
its day having three cylinders
