BR Standard class 4's

A pair of the workhorses of the preserved railway scene. 80072 at Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and the bottom one 80002 at Keighley on the KWVR. Superb engines and retired having done so little. 80072 was built at Brighton in 1953 and completed some fifteen years work before being sent for scrapping by BR. Thankfully it was one of the many saved from the cutters torch
