Rescued by David Shepherd 75029 rests at
Grosmont with its train
A splendid engine and I believe in 1st class condition
when rescued.
Unlike so many which had to have many years of
extensive work having languished in scrap yards
for many years prior to rescue.
So we must thank David for his money and of course
for his cheek in telling the powers that be 'I don't want
a knackered engine'.
Consequently he got both Green Knight and Black
Prince in tip top condition, having just been fully
overhauled
Its always a pleasure to see either engine
Hopefully we shall soon be seeing the K&WVR's
Std class 4 in steam on the rails again
